Experience
Founder of the “Movat Method”, and client care specialist since 1992. Certified in colon therapy (since 2002) and a personal user of colonics (colon hydrotherapy) since 1984.
I love what I do with great passion, and I am fortunate to have clients who trust me with their long-term wellness goals. When I see a client getting results from their treatments… I know I’m doing exactly what I was meant to do. When you are clean and clear on the inside, you feel strong and confident on the outside. We have all learned this through our different cleansing experiences here at Vitalife.
I own and operate Vitalife along with my team here in Toronto’s “Beach” neighbourhood. A neighbourhood I love for its’ peacefulness, beach culture, and famous boardwalk. The perfect place for a water based treatment like a colonic!
Clean on the inside, confident on the outside.
A Vitalife Proverb…
2019 to the present
After embarking on my own personal search for optimal health, I realized through my own experiences with internal cleansing, that I could return my health to a place it hadn’t been in a very long time, or actually probably ever. Through this, I developed a method we still use in the clinic today called “The Movat Method“.
When people ask me what I do for a living, I tell them I own a digestive health clinic that focuses on cleaning and resetting the gut with a secondary focus on total digestive health. As one would expect, I get mixed reactions, but most people are intrigued and ask a question or two about a health. Then they offer some information about a digestive issue they are personally struggling with, and then they tend to make a joke of some kind – or ask how to book an appointment.
Family History
My father was diagnosed in his mid-50’s with colorectal cancer. For the next 20 years he struggled with major health issues from fallout of his initial diagnosis and treatments – from diabetes, to other cancers like skin and stomach, and finally kidney dialysis and failure – which ultimately took his life in the fall of 2017. It is my belief now, that if he had cared for his colon, paid attention to what he ate and how much, this story would be a different one.
Family history aside… EVEN IF you don’t have a history of illness in your family, I always recommend regular medical exams and advise having a colonoscopy no later than age 40. There is a recent rise in colorectal cancers for young people age 35 + and preventative maintenance is key! If you have or have had polyps recorded/removed, your gut balance is out of whack. Plain and simple.
I can’t imagine not looking after my colon for as long as I am able to. It is my strong belief that many, if not most illnesses start in the colon. Certainly, for my dad, this was true.
Colon cleansing treatments have been life-changing for me, and they can be for you too. Check in with us for a quick chat or book your first appointment.
