Liver Maintenance

Coffee Enemas

Coffee Enemas for liver maintenance

The coffee enema is specific to liver maintenance. For liver maintenance, taking a coffee enema with a clean colon, benefits the liver directly. Coffee enemas can also be used to purge the colon and relieve constipation.

The overload of toxins in our food, and our environment, stress our body systems and then we hold toxins. The liver is a major detoxifying organ that needs to be working at it’s best to assist with the functions of the entire body. I am always surprised at how much the liver can hold on to without any maintenance at all. Scary!

When should you consider a coffee enema or a liver cleanse protocol?

Here are some indicators that may prompt you to think about scheduling a coffee enema:

  • tired in the morning after you wake
  • holding unwanted weight no matter what you do
  • not feeling great after meals
  • brain fog / lack of concentration
  • dark circles under your eyes
  • unwelcome and unusual bouts of anxiety

Speak to us about how you are feeling and we can decide together what considerations would be best for your health plan. What works for a friend, family member or someone on social media, may not be the best protocol for you. Remember, no two people are alike.

Organic Coffee

Organic Green Coffee Beans

The coffee we use for our enemas is organic and made specifically for use with coffee enemas. It has a higher caffeine content which assists with liver detoxification.

Although caffeine itself is a stimulant, when taken rectally it does not stimulate the central nervous system. Instead it stimulates the parasympathetic nervous system, leaving you feeling calm, yet somehow energized. It’s an amazing feeling! Keeping this in mind, there are some instances when a client may feel nauseous during an enema – one of the biggest reasons why we take care to ensure your enema experience is a good one.

Cleaning the colon before trying coffee enemas is important, so you don’t have an adverse reaction. We may suggest a colon cleanse or two before venturing into a coffee enema because we put your best interest first.

Liver cleansing vs. liver maintenance

Liver cleansing is different than liver maintenance. Do not jump into liver cleansing without proper preparation. The die-off can be extremely difficult to manage. For a full liver cleanse, refer to our home cleanses and speak to us about your needs.

Preparation protocol

You might consider our 20-30 day preparation protocol of Liver Enzymes prior to starting coffee enemas or cleanses. Check out our favourite prep product (Black Vacuum) here.
