Enemas

Enemas support your treatment plan, target specific needs, and aid elimination. No two programs are alike – your journey is your own. Enemas can be used a stand alone treatment that enhance gut health, or a regular add-on to your lifestyle. They can be administered in the clinic or at home, alone or in combination with a colonic, and we may recommend them as part of your journey to better overall health.

If you’re hesitant about using blended enemas, you can start by practicing with water or simply use water alone. Water enemas can be just as effective in supporting elimination and are quick to prepare. The only precaution is to ensure you’re using clean water—never water straight from the tap.

In-Clinic Enemas

Coffee

A coffee enema is a great liver maintenance tool that targets liver health. They promote detoxification and better liver function. We recommend this type of enema to ease die-off symptoms during cleanses, to detoxify, ease constipation, and help repair the liver. Coffee enemas are also indicated if you are receiving chemo treatments.

Benefits:

  • Detoxify and repair liver: Coffee enemas are most commonly promoted as a method to help the body rid itself of toxins, especially in those with liver disease or undergoing cancer treatments (like chemotherapy). The liver is believed to release stored toxins and cleanse itself more effectively during the enema.
  • Constipation relief: The enema process itself, combined with the stimulating effect of caffeine, can lead to temporary relief from constipation.
  • To ease die-off symptoms.
  • Promote Glutathione production: the “master” antioxidant that protects your mitochondria, and reduces toxicity levels.
  • Improved mood and energy: Some people report increased alertness, energy, and improved mood after a coffee enema, possibly due to the effects of caffeine on the central nervous system.

Probiotic

The Probiotic blend supports good gut health by increasing levels of good bacteria in the gut. The “Probiotic” aids in the growth of good bacteria in your colon.

Great for flu season or after using prescribed antibiotics to enhance the growth of good bacteria.

Purpose & Benefits:

  • Support your immune system: The gut microbiota plays a crucial role in the body’s immune response, and restoring its balance may enhance overall immune function.
  • Restore gut balance: Probiotic enemas are often used to help restore a healthy balance of gut bacteria, especially after antibiotics or illness that disrupts the microbiome.
  • Improve digestion: Improve conditions such as irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), and colitis by repopulating the lower intestines with beneficial bacteria.
  • Control candida overgrowth
  • Increase energy, mental clarity, and mood
  • Reduce inflammation: We have also found through client experiences that they help reduce inflammation in the colon, benefiting people with inflammatory conditions like ulcerative colitis or Crohn’s disease.
