At Vitalife we focus on gut health first. It is our opinion that maintaining good colon health keeps you strong and healthy, and ultimately, improves your quality of life. Once we deal with the gut, then we look at cleaning the upper GI, the liver, lungs, blood and lymph, then kidneys. Our 5 body systems.
Why colon hydrotherapy?
If you are you experiencing unexplained inflammation or anxiety, lower back pain, bloating, acid reflux — consider colonics. Colon cleansing is a safe and gentle way of removing waste that has collected in the large intestine (colon). Why is this a problem? Simple. When your colon is clogged up, it hinders the body’s natural process of elimination. Once that happens, your other elimination organs start to shut down too.
Your colon is your biggest elimination organ home to billions of bacteria, good and bad. They are essential for proper nutrient absorption, fighting off dangerous bacteria, reducing inflammation, and lowering your risk of pain and disease.
“All disease begins in the gut.”
Ancient wisdom spoken by Hippocrates, a Greek physician who is heralded as the father of modern medicine. His declaration is just as true today as it was 2,500 years ago, yet we still don’t talk about our poop!
Our way of life has changed dramatically over the years. Our modern technologically-advanced lifestyles come with perks like life-saving breakthroughs in medicine, long-distance communication and everyday conveniences that we can’t live without! These “perks” make our lives increasingly busy, and more stressful, and ultimately remove us from nature. To add fuel to the fire… we eat highly-processed, genetically modified, pesticide-ridden foods.

Getting started
Equipment
Aquanet EC-2000 – The Aquanet EC-2000™ is the only professional colon hydrotherapy machine in the world that allows you to switch between gravity and pressure hydrotherapy treatments with one device. This accommodates your personal level of tolerance and sensitivity.
Added benefit of UV filter: This machine has a triple filtration system including UV, that guarantees ultra clean, pathogen free water.
Woods Gravity Method – This original method of Colon Hydrotherapy, uses gentle gravity only. We encourage you to do your own comparison.
Which system should you use?
Your therapist will book you based on your needs. Having said that, either system can be used for any treatment, and both are equally effective.
The Aquanet is for clients booking maintenance treatments, and highly recommended for stubborn constipation issues and problems with fecal loading.
If you prefer a more gentle procedure, the Woods method is perfect for you.
How does the procedure work?
Colon hydrotherapy is a simple and safe procedure that most people find relaxing. It’s our favorite spa treatment, actually. We will walk you through each and every step to ensure you get the best results possible.
Your first session.
Determining what will work best for your comfort.
- Determine size of single use speculum
- Attach water hose to speculum
- Insert speculum into the rectum
- Secure waste hose to the speculum
Next… start the water!
A continuous gentle flow of warm water starts flowing into the colon. This activates the muscle movement of the colon called peristalsis. This movement, plus some gentle massage, activates a release of waste left sitting, or tucked away in the colon walls.
Clean warm water flows in… waste flows out! It’s like having a bath on the inside.
Each session lasts about 40 minutes. Please note: your first session doesn’t always produce amazing results. Results depend on your body awareness, body willingness, and body health.
Your program
After your first session is complete, we decide together on a program that’s right for you. Your program is based on what we saw or didn’t see in the treatment, how your session went, your personal GI issues, medical history, and general habits.
Does it hurt?
This procedure does not hurt at all. We are with you every step of the way to answer any questions you may have and to monitor and manage the session. Following your session, you may feel like you’ve had a decent ab workout. If you feel tender post treatment, give your body a few days to reset.
At Vitalife, we treat you with respect and dignity. Our services are high quality and delivered in a clean, safe, and relaxing environment.
How will I feel?
Most clients feel relaxed and enjoy the feeling of just letting go. Others may experience light cramps, chills, or light-headedness. These are normal body responses and part of the detox process that depends on the intensity of your release, and the willingness of your body to let go.
Transform your health!
Colon hydrotherapy is a cleaning assistant, which helps restore proper function the colon and other organs.
How do people live a life without colonics? I don’t know! Toxic build up – in the colon wall – happens to everyone. In your lifetime, this build up can lead to leaching (leaky gut), stifled peristalsis, diverticulitis, or worse.
Thousands of Vitalife clients have revived their gut health through colon cleansing, liver /gallbladder flushes, and other cleanses recommended by our team.
Book your appointment online today to relieve gut problems, heal your liver/gallbladder function, decalcify your kidneys, and improve your overall health.
Detox and feel amazing!
Remember… “all disease begins in the gut”!
